On May 9, 2025, Micronics Japan Co., Ltd. (MJC) acquired a portion of the shares of Hermes Testing Solutions Inc. (HTSI) as part of a strategic capital investment.
Since January 2023, when MJC ceased production of cantilever-type probe cards, it has been providing technical support to HTSI as an alternative procurement source. Since then, MJC and HTSI have established a broad and amicable strategic partnership.
Recently, in an effort to maintain and further develop their business relationship based on mutual trust, MJC decided to acquire shares in HTSI as a strategic partner. This investment is expected to strengthen MJC’s business operations in Taiwan, a global center for semiconductor manufacturing.
