HTSI to Debut on Emerging Stock Market on September 17, Targeting AI and HPC Advanced Test Opportunities

Hermes Testing Solutions Inc. (stock code: 7856, hereinafter “HTSI”), a company specializing in semiconductor testing solutions, is scheduled to begin trading on the Emerging Stock Market on September 17 with a reference price of NT$100 per share. Established in 2004, HTSI has grown alongside the semiconductor test industry, leveraging its comprehensive probe card product portfolio, in-house R&D capabilities, and engineering service expertise. From R&D and manufacturing to mass production, the company provides end-to-end solutions to support customer needs, actively tapping into emerging applications such as AI, HPC, 5G/6G, and LEO satellites.

HTSI’s core businesses consist of probe cards and consumables (24%), engineering services (44%), and customized products and agency equipment (32%) of projected full-year revenue. With paid-in capital of NT$257 million, the company is headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and has established sales and service centers in China and Japan, offering timely and professional technical support. HTSI is committed to being a trusted long-term partner to its customers.

According to Acumen Research and Consulting, fueled by the rapid growth of AI and HPC applications, global semiconductor test service market revenues are expected to grow from USD 10.8 billion in 2025 to USD 19.8 billion in 2032, representing a CAGR of 9.1%. Techinsights further projects that the global probe card market will reach USD 2.96 billion in 2025 and USD 3.35 billion in 2026, with a CAGR of 9.8% through 2028.

“The core strength of HTSI lies in its independent R&D. HTSI is the only company in Taiwan capable of independently developing and manufacturing membrane probe cards while delivering complete card-level solutions, with end-to-end services spanning design, manufacturing, and application.”said President of HTSI, Steven Wang. “Membrane probe cards will serve as its flagship products. To meet advanced testing needs for ASICs, SoCs, and other applications, HTSI has also formed a strategic alliance with MJC, one of the world’s top three probe card manufacturers, introducing MEMS technology to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and technical advantages.” Meanwhile, the company continues to integrate materials innovation and silicon photonics wafer testing to further strengthen competitiveness.

With ongoing process evolution, semiconductor testing faces two major challenges: precision and reliability, as well as thermal management and cost control. Driven by AI and HPC, the rise in chip performance has introduced stricter requirements for power consumption and heat dissipation, significantly increasing test complexity. In response, HTSI has invested in R&D to launch customized solutions such as thermal modules, consumables, and cleaning products to help customers overcome bottlenecks, improve product quality, and enhance yields. Looking ahead, HTSI will continue to uphold its business philosophy of “close to customers, timely support, and pain-point solutions”, while expanding its overseas presence to Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, and Germany to deepen collaboration with global semiconductor leaders.

In recent years, HTSI has delivered outstanding profitability. Consolidated revenue reached NT$1.152 billion in 2022, NT$809 million in 2023, and NT$1.598 billion in 2024. Net income attributable to shareholders improved from a loss of NT$33.02 million to a profit of NT$56.78 million, with EPS rising from -NT$1.65 to NT$2.84. For 1H25, revenue reached NT$1.019 billion, representing 51.9% year-on-year growth, primarily driven by surging demand for engineering services and growing contributions from probe cards. Gross margin stood at 46.1%, operating margin at 13.2%, and net income attributable to shareholders totaled NT$119 million, a 546.7% increase from the prior year, with EPS of NT$5.02.

Analysts commented that as emerging applications continue to drive high-precision test demand, the wafer probe station market is also expanding. With the rising number of installed systems, HTSI’s shipments of customized modules have also accelerated. Backed by its comprehensive product portfolio, technical expertise, and global footprint, HTSI is well-positioned to further boost business momentum and deliver sustainable growth.
